In less than a month we get to really start this new thing we’ve been talking about for months now. We will fly to Pensacola, FL, where our new (to us) boat is currently getting a few things fixed to prepare her for our first voyage together, and with the help of a couple of seasoned captains, who are also supposed to be amazing chefs (what?!), we’ll take her up several river systems to Minnesota.
Every day for about a week now we look at each other and both get the giggles and the scared-eyes simultaneously. Neither of us expected for all this to start so soon, but we are very excited nevertheless. Let the planning begin in earnest!
